How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your CookQuest account and all associated data directly from the app. Follow these steps:

1. Open the CookQuest app on your device.
2. Navigate to your Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your profile information (name, email, profile photo)
• Dietary preferences, allergies, and age
• Saved recipes and meal plans
• Grocery lists
• Cooking session history and gamification progress (XP, level, streaks, achievements)
• Push notification tokens
• Your Firebase authentication credentials

Important Notes

• Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
• Deletion takes effect immediately. You will be signed out of the app.
• There is no retention period — all data is removed as soon as the deletion is processed.
